Recovery

One day after surgery and you would never know he had anything done, except for the bandage covering his entire leg. He was ‘home alone’ for a while, until Tim came to keep him company and make sure he was doing ok. He has been able to get to the bathroom, the kitchen, and back to the sofa with very little effort. The pain medication helped him get a good night’s sleep, and it also relieved his headache. It will be good to have him off of all the other medicine that he is taking now, but it’s what he needs to get better.

Our neighbor is taking him to get his blood test tomorrow, and that should be a sight to see. This man is over 80 years old, had both knees replaced last year – so I’m not sure who will need more help getting into the car.
