Day of Surgery

They took Ed about 10:15 with the surgery to start around 11:15, but it got started later since he needed antibiotics. Around 1:00 the doctor called to tell us that the surgery went well and he would be in recovery for a few hours.

At 4:00 he was in his room, talking to us and giving high fives, so we knew he was ok. There are drainage tubes on his head to continuously drain whatever blood/fluid may still be there.

Even though this all went well from our eyes, he is already saying he doesn’t want another surgery.

Thank you all for your love, support, prayers, emails, food, phone calls, candle lighting and whatever else you may have done. We are so lucky to be surrounded by wonderful family and friends who are always there for us.
