CT Scan Day

Ed was feeling really good today. He had our neighbor, Phil, drive him to the drugstore to drop off his prescription. Then when they came back, they walked to get the mail. He said he is getting his strength back, but was concerned about a ‘tiny’ headache that he has, and the weakness on his left side.

Went to St. Francis for the CT scan. He told them about the headache and weakness and was told there is still some blood there, but compared to the last scan, they can tell the body is absorbing it. Since the brain is still recovering, and there is blood hanging around in there, the headache is not unusual, and the weakness is from the injury, too.

Ed left there feeling so much better, just knowing that there is a reason for what is going on, and that there isn’t any new bleeding.

Something that we did forget about was that even though our primary physician ordered the CT scan, he also wrote a prescription for Darvocette. Seems as though he truly did believe it was only a headache.
