Happy Birthday Eddie

Ed is 62 years old today, and has said many times that he has been given extra years on earth. For all that he has been through, it is a miracle that he is still here.

This is day number five on the Coumadin (blood thinner) and so far so good. The hard part is not knowing what will happen, or when it will happen. All we can hope for is that the Coumadin, that has kept him going for over 37 years, will continue to do its work. He will be anxious each and every time he has a headache, but as time goes on and the CT scans remain clear, the fears will lessen.

Today, we will celebrate his birthday and look forward to tomorrow.
