Happy Holidays

We had a wonderful Christmas Eve with Tim and Kim. Waiting for them to arrive is always fun, too… we keep watching for their car to pull in the driveway.

Ed made a fabulous roast and after eating, resting and laughing we were ready to open gifts. They got us the Wii game and after a few connections, we were ready to play. Thanks to Tim for setting it up before we even plugged it in. It was such fun and a great way to get exercise without even knowing it. Can’t wait to find other games to play.

Kim made beautiful beaded ornaments, which you can see in the pictures below. The pictures are ok, but they are much more exquisite in person. The little flowers are from this year – and the dangling Swarovski crystal ones are from last year. She always does such a terrific job!

Christmas day was spent with Kim’s family at her Aunt Tootsie and Uncle Aug’s home. Kim’s nephew, Nick, put together a terrific family tree book. He also had old photographs displayed along with pictures on the laptop and a book of pictures and articles. He spent many months doing research on the internet and getting information from the adults. Great job Nick!

Later in the day the Kiniry Kids arrived and what fun it was to sit and watch them…. it can be tiring just doing that. Griffin is in to all the super heroes and loves to talk about them. He has quite a vocabulary for a little guy. Camren and Quincy are walking now, so they were on the go continuously. When they weren’t walking about – they were eating, especially Quincy.

Good news for the folks we have been following this year

  • Jim came home Christmas Eve day and is doing ok
  • Scott is home and enjoying the holidays with his mom and Nana
  • Jenna is not home, but is surrounded by her family and doing good

May the New Year bring them, and all of us, love, peace, joy and good health.
