Ed Is Doing Better
Friday was a good day and Ed is feeling and looking much better. The blood counts were up from the day before and remained stable which was an indication that the bleeding stopped. According to the doctor, he was very lucky considering how long he waited before telling anyone about the bleeding. With the platelets so low, he could have been in serious trouble.
He is weak but only because of not being up and around or having anything solid to eat since Tuesday. No word on when he will be home since they now have to get the blood thinned to where it's not a danger to his heart valve.
The plan is to still go to CB2 for his chemo treatment on Tuesday.
