Protected By Angels

Protected By Angels is the medal that the staff at the cancer center gave Ed yesterday, as well as a 'Congrats' cake. It was a very emotional time as many nurses and the hospital chaplain came into the room cheering and clapping. They all wished Ed well and celebrated it being his last treatment. The chaplain had us hold hands and offered a very moving and beautiful prayer. We all know the power of prayer and have witnessed many miracles along the way.

Ed is happy to be home but I can only imagine the many emotions he is going through now and in the days and weeks to come. Even though the chemo portion of this journey is over, we are anxious to hear that he is cancer free. In the meantime, we are going to enjoy each day and look forward to sunny days ahead.

Tim and Kim were always there when we needed them, every minute of every day and they'll never know how much that meant to us. Everyone on CB2 loved the wonderful goodies that Kim made and wanted her recipe for the delicious chocolate chip cookies.

We can never thank all of you enough for the love and support we've had along the way and the many prayers that were sent to our angels.

As Ed said, "I have my very own angel in heaven"
