Stronger Every Day
Every day brings me closer to feeling stronger and getting ready for the chemo. As I’ve been told, I can’t expect to feel the same level of energy that I’m used to….. boy, is that the truth. Most of the time my body wants to be in a resting position and watching TV. I’m grateful for not having one bit of pain so, for now, I’ll take it easy and get ready for the fight.
Thank you to everyone who have kept me in their prayers and brightened my day with emails, cards, flowers and wonderful gifts.
I posted this in Facebook today and wanted to include it here for those of you not on Facebook.
To my LaLa’s, Whoopsies and Boozies!
How do I ever begin to thank all of you ladies for keeping my spirits up and putting a smile on my face. The love I felt watching the video was overwhelming and through tears I was feeling your hugs.
The other day a package arrived at my door and inside was the most beautiful and touching necklace I’ve ever seen. The picture does not do it justice as it sparkles and shines a million times brighter around my neck. It was hard to capture all the detail in a photo so I’ll try to describe it. The inscription says ‘all warriors have scars’ and the charms are the breast cancer pink ribbon, the word hope, an angel and two blue glittering birthstones. One is for my Tim and the other is for my Wendi.
Thanks to each and every one of you. Because of all your love, support, caring and prayers one day I’ll stand beside Kris and together we’ll raise our warrior swords in fighting the enemy and winning!
Love you ladies with all my heart.
