Port In – Tube Out

On Tuesday had the port inserted and it's been more of a discomfort than the mastectomy procedure. First, I think they gave me too much dope and I was out for two days  Then, I think they had to sit on my chest to put in the port because my ribs are really sore.  Had a temperature off and on but after Ed's calls to the center, they assured him Tylenol will help and not to worry.

Per my dear sister-in-love, Kris, I know this will all heal in time and I'll be feeling much better.  The drainage tube comes out tomorrow and that will be a blessing.  I'll be knocking on the surgeon's door at 8:30 am to make sure it's out by 8:35!

We're so grateful for everyone's caring during this time. I know there is still a long road ahead but I feel the tough part is over.
