Chemo #3
Another week before getting chemo #3. The blood counts were slightly higher, but still in the low range, and I don't feel as if I'm making much progress in feeling better. Getting chemo this week would drop all my counts lower again and it was up to me if I wanted to wait. Ed and Tim agreed it was a good idea to let my body recoup another week and see how I do. Saturday was the first day I was up and moving around and I thought for sure my counts would have been higher than they were.
I have so much support with Ed, Tim and Kim and being they are here and see what's going on – I know they feel this is a little extreme, too. Many I've talked to, who have gone through this, had the fatigue but it didn't last days…. and in my case, weeks. We're all hoping next Monday the counts will be in a safer range and by having the chemo cut to 50% strength will make it easier to tolerate.
Haven't gone this far to give up now…. fight, fight, fight!
