Doing Great!

The surgery went well and they had him up and walking down the hall an hour after he was in his room.  He said his pain level was a 12, even though the highest on his chart was a 10.  After a few 'magic' pills he was down to a 9.  It will take time, but the worst is over and he'll do just fine, like he always does.

Talked to him tonight and they had him up and walking again and now he's settled in to watch football.  What more could a man want….. food, football and a button that will make a young nurse appear in your room!
