In Rehab

What a difference a day makes.  Yesterday we thought he may never get out of the hospital and, this morning, he called that they were sending him to rehab.  He was much more alert, blood counts and kidney functions were better and the only thing was his leg is still swollen.

He went by ambulance to The Pines Nursing/Rehab facility which is about 5 minutes from the apartment. The place is very nice and the girls taking care of him think he’s just the cutest and so funny! He went from a big private room to sharing a small room with another patient.  The good thing is, it’s only for a few days.  We know he’ll work hard to get home where PT will continue for as many weeks as needed.

Don’t know what magic is in those prayers that everyone has been saying for him, but they sure do work…. thank you, thank you, thank you.  Now please say a few more because I haven’t told him about the damage to the car yet!!!
