Progressing

It was a better day and he’s been able to move that leg around a bit more.  The problem is his upper body strength that makes it difficult to get up off the bed, or out of the chair.  They are working on getting him stronger.  The incision looks good, but he does have staples even though they said they would use glue.  As long as it stays closed, that’s all we care about.

He had another ultrasound and the technician said he did see something but it was a surgical issue and not a blood clot.  He will send in the report and then it’s up to them as to what they will do.  Ed and I will be in a meeting tomorrow with staff at 11:00 so we’ll talk about what that means.  He is progressing and I’m happy with the care he is getting.
