Radiation to Continue

On Tuesday, June 7th, I'll continue with the radiation treatments but will only be getting four more instead of the remaining eight.  The doctor decided it was not worth the risk of doing more harm to my skin by doing all eight.  As he described it – I had a rip roarin burn!  It's healing and should do ok since the dose of radiation will be less and there won't be as many treatments.  I've decided to do the remaining four Tuesday through Friday and getting this last part over with.  That way I'll be done and can concentrate on getting my strength back and feeling good.

The CT scan that was done to eliminate any issues with the swollen collarbone came back negative.  It was a relief to know there were no tumors or lymph node problems and the doctor feels this was caused from the radiation.

There are now only four days left on my count down calendar and I can't wait to take down that last one!
