Another Good Day

Watched him do his PT this morning and I could see how much better he is doing.  They do feel he’s not ready to come home until he is stronger.  The meeting we had with staff was to discuss the plan for him and if we had any questions. The issue the ultrasound found is a cyst behind his knee called a Baker’s cyst.  Ed says that’s been there for years and so far hasn’t caused any problems.  His leg is still very swollen and that has to make it even harder to bend.

When he comes home we will have care until they feel he longer needs it.  They talked about removing the staples, so we’re waiting to hear when that will happen. At the rate he’s going, I’m sure he’ll be home before the weekend.

Ed’s roommate saw me in the hall and said, “boy, your husband snores so loud.  I may have to ask to be moved to another room because I didn’t sleep at all.  He also makes funny noises and talks in his sleep.”  Boy, I sure do know all about that.
