Home

 Ed is home and having a tough time navigating the chair.  Getting down is ok, but getting up is a challenge, even with Tim helping him.  We decided to see how he would do getting in the bed, and it was much easier.  PT is coming on Saturday. so she'll help him with the chair.  It will all take time and he has to remember the last surgery he was in the hospital 5 days and the nursing home 13 days, so by the time he got home, he was able to do everything on his own.

  He did have one transfusion in the afternoon and we never thought it was going to get done.  It kept beeping, which meant the blood wasn't going in, so it took almost 4 1/2 hours.

   The hard part is over and now all he has to do is get stronger.
