Ed finally made it to rehab on Tuesday evening and many of the nurses recognized him and made him feel at home. The doctor saw him and felt his leg was too swollen, but we told her that happened with his last surgery. She increased his lasix, so that kept him up a lot during the night. Saw him this morning and he looked ok, just tired. He went for PT and did a good job walking around. Then, to celebrate nurses week, they had a cookout and we sat in the dining room and was served hot dogs, hamburgers and ice cream while a man walked around singing and playing guitar. It was a nice diversion and it even had Ed singing. The doctor wanted him to get a transfusion, so we’ll be going to Bristol Hospital on Thursday for that.
