Better Day

It was another long day. but this time we have answers.  He needed another two units of blood and after the first unit, they took him for another colonoscopy.  This time they were able to find the two areas that were bleeding and cauterized them.  The lesions are called Dieulafoy’s lesion and the nurse said she never heard of that before….. no surprise!

He’s feeling better and hoping to get some food soon, so I don’t think he’ll be home Saturday and possibly not Sunday. They need to stabilize his blood thinner medication and make sure he can eat some solid food.

We’re very grateful to Dr. Zweig for recognizing the urgency and getting him admitted that day.

I’m thankful to have Tim and Kim with me, I couldn’t do it without them.
