Stronger Each Day

Just a minor issue with the incision on Sunday. A section of it opened and was bleeding but seemed to be ok after we bandaged it up. Tuesday he saw his primary care doctor who told him to see the surgeon. Kim took him today and the doctor drained it and will see him again on Monday. No sign of infection, so that is great news!

Ed asked why he feels like someone beat him up and the doctor said “because you were.” I don’t know if he realizes all that he went through in those 8 days. He has to give his body time to heal – even if his young mind wants to go out and walk.
