Sisters Back Home in Pittsburgh

The five days are over already and the sisters are safe and sound in Pittsburgh. We had a great time and did a lot of fun things.

Enjoyed watching the movies Ed made, especially the one of Kevin and Jennifer’s wedding. During this visit he had his video camera rolling most of the time, so there will be another fabulous movie coming to your theater soon!

Relaxed and had a nice evening visiting with Tim, Kim, Mike & Rosanne. As always, the food was delicious, the table setting was beautiful and Rosanne’s cake was incredible.

No one won the big wazoo at the casino, but we had a great time playing every penny slot machine in the casino. We stayed one night at MGM Grand and dropped a little bit of money there and then went to the Mohegan casino and made those Indians a little richer, too.

On the last day we took the ferry over to see Gillette Castle and, even though it was hot and humid, we roamed the castle and the grounds taking pictures at every turn.

That evening we went to Joey Garlic’s restaurant across the street and munched on eggplant fries, foot long sandwiches and salads. While we were there a powerful storm hit and we watched the trees bending and swaying and found out the next morning they were trying to determine if a tornado had touched down. Ed said the tornado touched down on Saturday when the sisters arrived.

There are many pictures to share and once I get them all organized…. they will be in the journal for everyone to enjoy.

Thank you Joan, Kris, Linda and Kathy….. we had a wonderful time. Stay healthy and soon we will start to think about things to do for next years trip.
