Ed and Dr. Siegel
We met Dr Siegel this morning and after a few brief moments we felt very comfortable with him. As he listened to details of what’s happened in the last 3 1/2 months he sensed our concern that no one has been able to figure out what is going on and said between he and Dr. Zweig – they will get to it.
He feels it is not lymphoma based on the activity of the lymph nodes but he isn’t ruling it out or the possibility of a malignancy. Unfortunately he did not have the records or reports that were sent by Dr. Zweig and is in the process of tracking them down. He did have the PET scan that I sent and would review it as well as the CT scans we sent today.
He said he will talk to us on Friday and until he has more to go on – we will continue to take it one day at a time. Today was one of the best days Ed has had in a long time.
