Talked to the Doctor

Dr. Siegel will start the chemo treatments on Monday and, so far, none of the blood tests have shown any infection.  He feels all of this is due to the cancer.  There are enlarged lymph nodes in his stomach and that is the reason for all the pain he's been having.  The fever is still hanging around but not anywhere near the 103 or 104.  The Tylenol is helping as well as the Dilaudid for his pain.  He even ate lunch – macaroni and cheese that he would never eat at home.  

They put in a PICC line – Andrew knows all about this – which will allow them to give drugs, chemo or take blood.  That process went smoothly and they had to do an x-ray to make sure it was in the right place since she couldn't get an accurate read due to his heart being in a-fib.  It all went well and right now he is snoozing.

He wants everyone to know he is doing okay and is ready for this fight….. and thanks to everyone for their prayers
