Good Day So Far

Yesterday was a rough one for Ed.  After having a good morning he started with the fever and no matter what they gave him, it kept going up.  Then he had chills where the bed was actually shaking and making noise.  This all lasted about an hour and then he was back to feeling okay.  Whatever destroyer missiles he has inside are trying to attack the cancer, but it needs help and that is coming tomorrow.  We will know more about what to expect when we talk to the doctor before chemo starts.  Ed said the on-call doctor for the weekend told him he would get one treatment a week for six weeks.

Today is a good one so far and we hope it stays that way.

Ed enjoyed seeing Andrew and Tim yesterday – it was a nice change from seeing my ousbach face!  Andrew looked terrific and healthy and it was fun to listen to him telling Ed what nurses to watch out for.  

Oh yes, ousbach is something only someone who has watched Everybody Love Raymond would know.
