Ed & Dr. Siegel

Good news….  we won’t be going to visit with Dr. Siegel for about a month and Ed is feeling good.  In two weeks he will have a CT scan to check on those lymph nodes and we’re sure they’ll be tiny and back where they belong. Dr. Siegel feels the chemo has done its job and most likely the first sign of any recurrence (which we don’t expect) is the return of the fever and chills.

There hasn’t been any signs of the bleeding and other than feeling tired, Ed is doing okay. Dr. Siegel told him he’ll start to regain some of his strength after a month or two – not only did the chemo mess with his system but, also, the bleeding episodes.              
                                                                   
If it wasn’t for our loving family and friends, this journey would have been even more difficult than it was.  Knowing that everyone was thinking of us and praying was appreciated beyond words.
