Date Is Set

Monday, August 10th is the date for my surgery.  They don't assign a time but call you the night before to let you know when to be there.  I'm relieved to be able to check that off the list and move forward.  Next step is to get an appointment with my PC for the pre-surgery physical.

Saw my oncologist, Dr. Hong, today (Ed's oncologist,too) and he went over pretty much everything my surgeon told me.  There is no plan for treatment until the tumor and lymph nodes are removed.

The 'sisters' are making their annual trip to CT on Saturday, August 1st, and we plan on partyin' down!!!  Plus, we plan on winning at the casino.
