Lost Again
Anyone who knows me, knows I can get lost in my own neighborhood! Had my entire day planned, and the first stop was to do a return at the HomeGoods store. Simple….. Route 10, Southington, HomeGoods store. Wrong! I was so lost I had to reach for the GPS and plug in the address. GPS couldn’t connect – sort of like my brain with directions. At this point, I could hear Ed laughing hysterically and saying ” that’s my girl.” Gave up and then remembered Siri! Desperately yelled into the phone “Siri, take me to HomeGoods in Southington, CT.” Within a second, she was directing me and I safely arrived at the store which was only a few miles away. Ed is still laughing!!!
I always remember Ed saying that you had to start back at home to figure out how to get to any destination!
So true! He could never understand how someone could get so terribly lost.
I am only reading this now and Ed said that you used to get lost going to the store! Didn’t you say once that if you get to, is it 84, you could find your way home!
Interstate 84 was my friend and if I could find my way there, I could get home. I actually got lost walking around Mt. Troy, with my sister. We were yapping away and I paid no attention to where we were walking. Had to knock on someone’s door to use their phone to call Ed. You know I never heard the end of that one for a long time.
